Key Responsibilities:
- Collects and inputs demographic data into the hospital's EPIC system.
- Records information regarding referring entities, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals into the EPIC system.
- Follows established name search protocols as detailed in the Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Collaborates with other scheduling clerks to manage incoming calls and provide assistance to patients, physicians, specialty nurses, and other healthcare staff at the Scheduling desk. Takes on the responsibilities of schedulers and/or receptionists during their absence.
- Maintains effective communication with relevant departments.
- Performs various clerical tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• A combination of relevant clerical experience, related undergraduate education, and/or post-high school clerical training equivalent to two years of full-time employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Medical Terminology
• Experience using EPIC
• Customer service experience in a healthcare environment
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills.
