About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investigative Support Specialist to join our team at ACT. As a key member of our Test Security team, you will play a critical role in supporting the investigation of individual score review matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintaining individual score review case files at various stages of the score review process, including preparing evidence for panel review and assisting in the retest process.
  • Process mail and correspondence, and manage schedules for panel processing.
  • Communicate effectively with ACT staff, examinees, and others regarding the score review process and Test Security matters.
  • Exercise judgment within defined guidelines related to processing cases in the individual score review process.
  • Assist with Test Security individual score review investigations, including compiling and documenting evidence within defined guidelines.
  • Provide support to Test Security investigators and management as needed, within scheduled timelines.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience in data analysis, business processes, or related administrative responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, including collaboratively managing and organizing work.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Computer usage and software skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, and database familiarity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Acts decisively with sound judgment; uses data to analyze and options and form opinions.
  • Ability to manage change and navigate positively in an environment experiencing change at a fast pace.
  • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality regarding department and corporate information.
  • Uses self-starter approach, ability to multi-task, proactively anticipates and acts on information.
  • High school diploma required or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Skills and knowledge required for success in this position attained through experience and education (Bachelors Degree in Business or related field of study), or a combination of both.
