Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Development: Create and manage contracts with contractors for ongoing equipment rentals or purchases.
  • Service Staff Training: Train service staff on best practices for customer satisfaction and brand promotion.
  • Scheduling and Prioritization: Develop and maintain a priority system for scheduling service work, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Work Order Management: Manage work order systems, including invoice logging and generating service invoices.
  • Warranty and Claims Management: Ensure timely completion and filing of manufacturer warranty and Product Improvement Program claims.
  • Employee Scheduling: Schedule and assign job tasks to employees based on their skills and knowledge.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the service department is equipped with necessary tools and service equipment is available and maintained in good working order.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Make recommendations for the purchase of service vehicles and maintain vehicles according to manufacturer's requirements.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate dealership training programs and service-related customer clinics.
  • Professional Conduct: Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times, both inside and outside the dealership.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze performance metrics on a monthly basis to ensure achievement of departmental goals.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Experience: 3+ years in a service management position or background as a service technician/mechanic.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
