Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Huntington Park, California. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide direct patient care to members with communication and swallowing disorders by evaluating, diagnosing, developing, and implementing therapy/treatment programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy/treatment programs for patients.
  • Administer diagnostic tests and provide individualized treatment to adults and children.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide in-service training to healthcare staff and supervise the development and treatment of Speech Pathology Assistants.
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • One year of clinical experience in Speech Pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
