Surgical Advanced Practice Provider

Orlando Health is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with surgeons, and contributing to the development of treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status, develop diagnoses, and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to formulate and implement treatment plans.
- Perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as credentialed.
- Diagnose medical and surgical problems, prescribe necessary treatment and services, and implement appropriate management based on laboratory results and physical assessments.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve patient care issues to foster significant improvement in patient care and outcomes.
- Dictate and document patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
- Conduct or participate in multidisciplinary rounds and participate in quality initiatives to ensure consistent attainment of key quality indicators.
- Support IRB-approved clinical research/trials through various activities, including ordering diagnostic tests, recording laboratory and diagnostic results, and documenting outcomes.
- Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing, APRN license in the state of Florida, and national advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board.
- Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program, maintain current physician assistant licensure in the state of Florida, and maintain current BLS/healthcare certification.
