Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Transitional Services for New York, Inc. as a Part-Time Receptionist. The successful candidate will provide exceptional administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and delivering a high level of customer service to our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and performing general administrative duties.
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet clients, visitors, and staff, and manage the front desk area, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, staff, and external partners, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including client files, schedules, and other relevant documents.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize various software applications, including PTAR, AWARDS, and EPACES, to perform administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives, providing support and assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year of related experience in a clerical or receptionist capacity.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
