About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Space Systems team at BAE Systems Plc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex electronic systems for space-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic systems for space-based applications, including modeling and simulation, analysis, and testing.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define functional and performance requirements.
  • Lead the resolution of hardware anomalies and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the department and with external partners.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
Requirements
  • BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field, plus 12 or more years of related experience.
  • Experience with electronic circuit design, electronic systems, and software.
  • Hands-on experience with lab power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and logic analyzers.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
