Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver instructional content to students in the field of Hybrid and Electrical Vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Prepare students for ASE certification by teaching safety concepts and demonstrating skills and knowledge related to Engine Performance and Hybrid and Electrical Vehicles.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to ensure students meet the required standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in Hybrid and Electrical Vehicle technology.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in Hybrid and Electrical Vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with ASE certifications A8 and L3.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Work Environment

The work environment involves teaching students in a classroom setting and working with diverse students, staff, faculty, and the general public. The instructor will be required to use safe workplace practices, office equipment, and new technology systems.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Teaching experience in a post-secondary setting.
  • Industry certifications and training in Hybrid and Electrical Vehicle technology.
