Job Overview
Key Qualifications:

PRIMARY ROLE:

Design and define cutting-edge electrical, mechanical, and automated systems. Enhance manufacturing support and maintenance initiatives through effective training and technical assistance. Formulate process specifications, machine parameters, and strategies for minimizing waste and maximizing operational efficiency. Lead capital projects from initial strategic planning through procurement, installation, testing, and transition to operational teams. Evaluate industry-leading facilities and implement top-tier processes, equipment, and workflows.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop control systems for machine tools, encompassing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.

Select capital machinery for manufacturing operations.

Optimize existing machine tools to boost uptime, enhance quality, and elevate productivity.

Provide engineering expertise to production machinery and processes, including guidance for maintenance teams.

Establish initiatives for cost-saving measures aligned with overall plant objectives.

Advise on enhancements to preventative maintenance strategies.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal engineering teams for ongoing improvement initiatives.

Authorize and approve modifications to machine tool programming.

Educate team members on emerging technologies and manufacturing methodologies.

Adhere to and maintain Quality Management System and Environmental Management System standards.

Participate in teams and lead team-oriented activities.

Monitor and document cost-saving achievements.

PFMEAs:
Understand the application of PFMEAs within the organization; develop, maintain, and review PFMEAs as necessary.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.

The position necessitates technical expertise in machine functionality, processes, control systems, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives, and electrical/electronic systems.

Technical knowledge in mechanical design is also required.

Proficient skills in capital equipment justification, project scheduling, and managerial planning are essential. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial.

Mentor and cultivate maintenance staff.

Assist other facilities with technical challenges.

Candidates must be capable of independently managing assigned project tasks.

Preferred experience in data-driven analysis and problem-solving techniques.
