Job Summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering (WM) is a leading engineering company seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer at WM, you will play a key role in designing and developing electrical systems for various industries, including life sciences, building automation, food and beverage, oil and gas, and mining.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
  • Develop specifications and drawings for electrical systems, including motor branch circuits, power distribution, and transformation.
  • Conduct site visits to perform system checkout and start-up of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Develop final record system documentation and provide system training to customers.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on systems integration and design.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and associated national, state, and local code requirements.
  • Experience with PLC programming and AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
