Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Harborview Augusta, a leading provider of patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless coordination and effective communication.
  • Review and document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Collect and analyze patient data for research and quality improvement purposes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems, ensuring timely and efficient access to patient information.
Requirements:
  • Valid nursing license in the state of employment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, with a strong foundation in clinical practice.
  • Strong data management skills for documentation review and analysis, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and infection control protocols, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of epidemiology and microbiology principles, with a focus on preventing and controlling infections.
