Tech24, through its subsidiary Central GA Refrigeration, specializes in comprehensive refrigeration and commercial kitchen equipment repair services. We cater to a diverse clientele, including restaurants, convenience stores, state facilities, educational institutions, grocery stores, and religious organizations, focusing on refrigeration and HVAC systems.

The Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Specialist is tasked with utilizing a company vehicle to travel to customer locations for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Success in this role requires the ability to work autonomously, demonstrate strong technical and problem-solving skills, and excel in customer service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Conduct inspections of HVAC and refrigeration systems and associated components to ensure safe functionality.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and branch personnel regarding repair statuses to ensure adherence to schedules and proper communication of any delays.
  • Complete service documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor inventory on service vehicles to ensure necessary parts are available.
  • Maintain service vehicles, tools, and uniforms to meet Tech24 standards.
  • Serve as a role model for less experienced technicians by promoting company values.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Reliable and capable of working independently.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Possession of standard industry hand tools.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and navigate confined spaces.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the designated region.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of an on-call rotation.
  • Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn new methods and techniques.
  • Previous experience as a commercial HVAC and refrigeration technician is essential.
  • Universal EPA certification is highly preferred.
