Travel Requirements: Frequent travel across the state, approximately three days per week.

Role Summary:
The role involves delivering technical consulting and operational assistance to various counties throughout the state.
- The field support consultant will focus on tasks related to cabling identification, installation, relocation, and removal of PCs, servers, VoIP phones, wireless access points (WAPs), and other data/network communication equipment.
- Remote work is permitted when not engaged in travel.
- Occasional office visits may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site survey documentation, including site survey workbooks.
- Capture site environment details through photography.
- Provide rack and data closet information using standardized documentation.
- With client collaboration, assess the existing environment and perform a needs analysis to ensure the site is equipped to meet operational requirements.
- Assist with the installation, relocation, and removal of network equipment, including workstations, servers, VoIP phones, and WAPs.
- Support the identification and installation/deinstallation of networking and data communication equipment.
- Offer field support for rack and stack activities and network connectivity identification.
- Assist with site survey preparations, cable connectivity, and troubleshooting.
- Provide network assistance, inventory management, and asset control oversight.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in installing and troubleshooting PCs, printers, servers, data communications equipment, data cable installation/troubleshooting, and VoIP telephony.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, particularly with a background in math, sciences, engineering, or technical fields, though not mandatory.
