Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Workers' Compensation Claims Representative to join our team at Travelers Indemnity Co. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for managing Workers' Compensation claims from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and fair outcomes for our policyholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations to determine compensability and establish reserves.
  • Manage files with a focus on quality, including timely contact and documentation, and proactive resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Develop strategies to manage losses involving statutory benefit entitlement, medical diagnoses, and Medicare Set Aside to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal nurse resources to integrate medical services into the overall claim strategy.
  • Negotiate settlements within designated authority and apply deep technical expertise to resolve complex claims.
  • Participate in file reviews, respond to inquiries, and keep injured workers informed of claim status.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years Workers Compensation claim handling experience.
