Job Description

At Niagara Bottling, we're seeking a talented Manufacturing Technology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to assist in commissioning manufacturing technologies throughout our network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support commissioning of systems, working with internal and external stakeholders onsite and plant management teams.
  • Train all end users, including super users, on functionality and process changes related to new manufacturing technologies.
  • Document requirements, process flows, new functionality, and creation of SOP/training materials, maintaining all materials in a central repository.
  • Work with business to understand and document system requirements, test various integrations within applications, and update UAT scenarios to deliver and support business needs.
  • Troubleshoot daily operational system issues to define root cause, working in collaboration with business partners to create temporary/permanent solutions.
  • Ability to take direction, learn processes/systems quickly, and apply to deliver results based on timeline.
  • Recognize potential problems with existing equipment and develop solutions, adapting to various engineering designs, applications, and process criteria.
  • Create dashboards and reports that present production data to plant staff and management.
  • Perform data analysis using software tools to model and develop new understanding of manufacturing opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment collaboratively with a cross-functional team and manage project implementations.
  • Organize, schedule, and run meetings to coordinate on-site commissioning's, identifying opportunities and system needs.
  • Ability to plan, track, escalate, and deliver upon tasks and timelines assigned.
  • Available for 24/7 support (scheduled and off hours).
  • Excellent problem solver with the ability to keep many driving factors and requirements in focus.
  • Monitor process, technology, and provide insights into overall status.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, ability to communicate and interact at various levels of organization, including Plant Directors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 0-1 Years - Experience in manufacturing field, prefer manufacturing technology experience such as MES/LMS/CMMS.
    • 0-1 Years - Experience in position.
    • 0-1 Years - Experience managing people/projects.
    • Travel Requirements: 90-100%.

  • 2 Years - Experience in manufacturing field, prefer manufacturing technology experience such as MES/LMS/CMMS.
