Job Title: Concierge

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concierge to join our team at Sonnenalp Hotel. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional personalized service to our guests and owners, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, restaurants, and attractions to provide guests with insider knowledge and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date on local events, concerts, and activities to inform guests and enhance their experience.
  • Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures, and ensure seamless communication with guests and staff.
  • Operate the PBX switchboard, handle guest messages, and maintain professional telephone etiquette.
  • Manage cash drawer, perform inventory, and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay informed about property management systems, concierge programs, and other relevant systems to provide exceptional service.
  • Document guest comments, complaints, and maintenance requests in HotSoS, and follow up as necessary.
  • Arrange transportation for departing guests and assist with luggage handling and shipping.
  • Maintain accurate logs of guest activities, reservations, and vendor confirmations.
  • Comply with hotel policies and procedures, and assist other departments as needed.
Requirements:
  • Concierge experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy phone volume, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Clean and valid Colorado driver's license required.
