Job Title: Compensation Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Manager to join our team at Henry Schein. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the Compensation and HRIS teams to execute projects related to salary administration, year-end process, bonus administration, job evaluations, salary grades, and other variable compensation plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage activities related to job evaluations and work with the team to plan and organize project objectives, timeline, and strategic activities to ensure timely and effective project completion.
  • Provide guidance on and evaluate all current and proposed Sales Incentive and other variable compensation plans.
  • Conduct market pricing and analyses in support of pay recommendations and new hire offers. Provide guidance on pay decisions, policy, and guideline interpretation and job evaluation, including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related issues.
  • Experience using Workday, MarketPay, and/or PayFactors.
  • Manage special projects, including salary review and administration, bonus administration, long-term equity administration.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of seven years' experience in Compensation, including specific experience in incentive plan administration, survey preparation and analysis, job evaluation, salary structure, and incentive plan development, or the equivalent required.
  • Experience with sales/commission plans, including design and evaluation of plans.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including high degree of competence in spreadsheet and database software, especially in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, PeopleSoft (or similar), including report generation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.
  • CCP (certified Compensation professional) certificate a plus.

Work Environment:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The posted range for this position is $95,990 to $167,983, which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range, including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus/incentive not reflected in the posted range.
