Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Manager to join our team at Fluent, LLC. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation strategies that align with our company goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compensation structures that drive business results and support our company's growth strategy.
  • Oversee the administration of incentive compensation plans, ensuring accurate and timely calculations and reporting.
  • Lead the annual review of compensation plans, providing recommendations to senior management for improvement and optimization.
  • Communicate quarterly goals and bonus/commission statements to employees, ensuring transparency and clarity.
  • Review and reconcile payroll batches for all company codes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process off-cycle, RSU, and quarterly commissions in ADP, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Reconcile payroll bank accounts, prepare and record related journal entries, and review general ledger coding for accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly analysis of payroll and payroll-vendor-related expenditures for Employee Benefits, providing insights for cost optimization.
  • Provide support for ongoing internal and external audit requests, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of state withholding, applicable rates, and unemployment tax registrations.
  • Research and resolve tax agency notices, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Align closely with the Human Resources department to maintain accurate employee data, ensuring seamless integration with HR systems.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the company's share-based compensation plans, including delivery of shares to employees and relevant record-keeping.
  • Resolve employee-related payroll inquiries, providing timely and accurate support.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • At least five years of relevant work experience with end-to-end payroll processing in a multi-state company environment.
  • Ability to safeguard and maintain confidential information, ensuring the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working across the organization, with touchpoints at both executive and individual contributor levels.
  • Aptitude for improving operations, with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.
  • Proficient with technology and software, including ADP, NetSuite, and Excel, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Comfortable acknowledging what you don't know, giving others the benefit of the doubt, and excited about leveraging your natural strengths.
  • Excited about being a part of Fluent, eager to contribute and learn, ask a lot of questions, and proactively look for improvements.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work with a high sense of urgency, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.

Salary Range: $125,000 to $150,000 - The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Fluent salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.

Fluent participates in the E-Verify Program. As a participating employer, Fluent, LLC will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
