Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bioskills Surgical Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and participating in the setup and operation of Bioskills surgical training sessions, educational workshops, and research activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate laboratory sessions for residents, fellows, and physicians
- Assemble and prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for scheduled sessions
- Distribute supplies and materials to participants prior to sessions
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment and replace malfunctioning equipment as needed
- Monitor and maintain infection control measures and sterilization standards during procedures
- Set up and operate audiovisual and teleconferencing equipment during laboratory activities
- Perform turnover activities between laboratory sessions
- Maintain and update laboratory and equipment files and manuals
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
