About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Hard Rock International. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service in our cafes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager in planning and directing food preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet Hard Rock's culinary standards.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control, adhering to local health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement new menu items, specials, and promotions, working closely with the culinary team to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Lead and motivate the culinary team, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure excellent service and high-quality food.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.
  • Ensure that all kitchen operations are running efficiently, effectively, and safely, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest quality ingredients and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies, applying this knowledge to improve kitchen operations and enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in culinary management.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams, driving business growth, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, guests, and stakeholders.
