A Support Care Specialist (SCS) is responsible for delivering direct assistance, encouragement, and guidance to individuals with mental, intellectual, developmental, and physical challenges. The primary objective is to enable these individuals to achieve greater independence and comfort while upholding their dignity and respect.

Work Schedule: Options for Full-time or Part-time availability

Compensation: $13/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on support, encouragement, and mentorship.
  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and personal development of the individuals served.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as mobility, personal hygiene, dressing, and bathing.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties and assist with meal preparation.
  • Foster relationships with individuals served and fellow team members.
  • Participate in community events and recreational activities, including outdoor walks and games.
  • Transport individuals to appointments or community activities.
  • Empower individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.
  • Document progress, achievements, and action plans.
