Key Responsibilities- Observe and promote safe work practices and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide a security presence and perform floor care maintenance tasks, including cleaning minor spills and providing routine floor care maintenance.
- Respond to emergency codes and complete task incident reports.
- Remove trash, linen, and bio-waste, and stock linen as needed.
- Perform security rounds and make surveillance rounds to ensure the security and safety of our facilities.
- Lock and unlock doors, and provide escort services as required.
- Spread ice melt during winter weather and remove litter from grounds.
- Perform other tasks as assigned, including pressure washing, cleaning windows, and other maintenance duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Must complete and/or take all required health screenings and vaccines.
The Service Support Specialist will be frequently required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talk or hear. The employee will occasionally be required to stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Environmental ConditionsThe Service Support Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with high exposure to hazardous risks, including potential exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. The employee will be required to follow standard precautions and may be required to work weekends or flex schedules. Travel may be required, and the employee will be exposed to weather conditions during travel.
