Position Overview:
As a vital member of the Mercy Clinic Primary Care team, the Healthcare Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient clinic operations and delivering exceptional patient care. This position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the seamless workflow of the clinic while conducting patient assessments in a timely and systematic manner.
  • Document both subjective and objective patient data in accordance with established policies.
  • Implement effective patient safety protocols and maintain infection control standards.
  • Collaborate with the clinic team to achieve daily operational goals efficiently.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED is required.

Certification:
Must secure BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Preferred Experience:
At least 6 months of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, ideally within a primary care environment.

Certified Healthcare Support Specialist:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED is required.

Certification:
Active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) is necessary. BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
