Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional service to guests, vendors, and team members via phone, radio, and in-person interactions.

Assist, guide, and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Stay updated on the company's safety protocols and emergency procedures. Aid in monitoring evacuation routes.

Conduct work safely, ensuring a secure environment for both employees and guests.

Perform guest identification checks to verify age and identity for gaming and alcohol consumption.

Observe and monitor the behavior of guests and employees, reporting any suspicious activities.

Complete escorts, fills, drops, and other assigned tasks accurately and promptly.

Patrol designated areas of the property, identifying potential risks to the company, its staff, guests, or assets. Report any suspicious activities or safety concerns to management immediately.

Respectfully deny entry, issue warnings, or remove disruptive individuals in accordance with policy or law. Collaborate with management on investigations related to disturbances, complaints, and incidents.

Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Manage traffic control during peak times, events, and gatherings.

Monitor and communicate information regarding alarms and security systems.

Uphold a positive and professional image for the casino while performing duties and encourage others to do the same.

Work during nights, weekends, special events, and holidays as necessary.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Exceptional guest service skills are essential.

Previous security experience is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, and policy manuals.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Must successfully complete CPR, First Aid, AED, and MAST certification exams.

Must present oneself as a credit to the Angel of the Winds Casino Hotel.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

Must obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the appropriate gaming authority. A valid driver's license is required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position requires the ability to receive detailed information through verbal and written communication. The role may involve exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Repetitive movement is necessary, with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. Occasionally, assistance with wheelchairs and luggage may be required. This position may necessitate outdoor work for extended periods and exposure to weather conditions. While there are no adverse conditions, employees may be regularly exposed to tobacco smoke. This is a 24/7 operational role.
