At Push Digital Group, we're building out a robust Franking operation designed to close the digital divide between Congress and the American public. Our mission is to make legislative leaders look and sound their best online by producing engaging content and offering the most innovative franking solutions.

The Role

We're adding a Director of Congressional Services to our team to lead Congressional Franking outreach. The role blends sales, advertising, and communications, requiring a proactive, results-driven, and strategic thinker with a passion for politics and a deep understanding of Congressional culture and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute innovative digital franking strategies for dozens of offices (both Republican and Democratic).
  • Identify opportunities for current and prospective client growth through marketing and outreach.
  • Manage a collaborative, deadline-driven team to achieve results.
  • Cultivate relationships with Capitol Hill staff and Members to proactively anticipate and meet their communications needs.
  • Oversee compliance with House franking rules and the approval process.
  • Build budgets, write scripts, and develop ad ideas in conjunction with our all-star team of professional political communicators.
  • Serve as internal lead to ensure projects meet deadlines and deliverables exceed our client's highest expectations for quality and effectiveness.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of what Franking is and a foundational understanding of U.S. House Rules.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience on Capitol Hill in communications, or as a Chief of Staff or Deputy Chief of Staff.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and motivating teams.
  • Strong understanding of congressional operations, news media, and political landscapes.
  • Demonstrated experience with a Member's franking operation, from budgeting to messaging.
  • A firm grasp of advertising industry terms such as OLV, CTV, and CPM.
