This is a key leadership role that requires a strong passion for ensuring children's wellbeing and a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving system improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the office responsible for child welfare services and collaborate with other partners in child welfare, including Courts, schools, and community agencies.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase children's safety and well-being in the city.
- Oversee several direct staff, including two Program Managers and a Quality Assurance FSSIII Position, and 50 indirect-report staff.
- Work closely with the Center Director for Children and Families and the Department of Community and Human Services to advance racial equity across the entire Child Welfare system.
