Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, Full-Time

The Human Resources Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and will be instrumental in the recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees. This role will also support the implementation of HRIS initiatives and serve as the primary contact for all HR-related inquiries.

This position demands a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, organization, and meticulous attention to detail in supporting the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for HR inquiries, ensuring an employee experience that aligns with our core values.
  • Maintain and manage employee records, ensuring all HR documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including personal information, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance evaluations, and termination records.
  • Oversee the complete recruitment cycle and facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, including preparing benefits information, new hire paperwork, coordinating pre-employment screenings, and organizing orientation sessions.
  • Utilize passive sourcing techniques to develop a robust talent pipeline.
  • Post job vacancies on various platforms and collaborate with external recruiting agencies as necessary, coordinating candidate interviews and documenting feedback.
  • Coordinate and document new hire orientation within the training management system.
  • Manage leaves of absence while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.
  • Conduct salary surveys and analyze market data to maintain competitive compensation structures.
  • Input and maintain employee data within HR systems.
  • Support the implementation of a new Human Capital Management system and actively participate in testing phases.
  • Assist the HR team in managing employee benefits programs, including new hire and open enrollment processes.
  • Ensure timely authorization and processing of 401(k) documentation.
  • Oversee the Workers' Compensation claim process.
  • Manage the tracking system for performance reviews and ensure timely communication of annual reviews.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience in HR; experience with payroll processing is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to quickly learn HRIS and benefits management systems.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the HR field, with a readiness to embrace new challenges.
