Radius Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled RN Director to oversee the Surgical Services Department at a rural hospital in Eastern Maine. As a key member of the hospital's leadership team, the RN Director will be responsible for managing the department's daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading a team of professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the Surgical Services Department, ensuring compliance with evidence-based standards of care, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a highly functional team of professionals, focusing on patient-centered care and quality and safety.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for clinical care of patients.
- Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with other hospital departments to achieve seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Excellent understanding of patient-centered care.
- 3+ years of clinical perioperative nursing experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- CNOR certification required.
