At EMS of Virginia (Educating, Mentoring, Success), we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team as an Intensive In-Home Clinician Counselor. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional mental health services to clients in the community.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide intensive in-home services to clients, including individual and family counseling, case management, and crisis intervention. This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family counseling to clients in their homes
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to meet client needs
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure client progress
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress
  • Participate in regular team meetings and supervision to ensure quality care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a licensed or licensed-eligible mental health professional with a strong background in counseling and case management. You will also need to be registered with the Department of Health Professions as a QMHP-C. If you are a recent or upcoming graduate with experience in mental health, we encourage you to apply.
