Key Responsibilities:

As the Accounting Manager at IPS, you will oversee the daily and monthly accounting functions across multiple locations. Collaborating closely with the Regional Finance Manager and the Corporate Finance team, you will facilitate the month-end closing process and guide the regional team in daily accounting operations at the Service Centers. Your role will include:
  • Executing the month-end closing process, which involves journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Partnering with the Area General Manager to inform business decisions and enhance financial and operational efficiencies.
  • Assisting the Regional Finance Manager in financial planning and analysis, including the development of annual budgets.
  • Providing support to Service Center Finance staff in areas such as job costing, inventory management, accounts payable, labor entry, and expense reporting.
  • Traveling up to 25% to support Service Center personnel.
  • Conducting ad-hoc analyses to inform data-driven decisions aimed at increasing sales and profitability.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a managerial accounting role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems and month-end closing procedures.
