Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day client financials, manage and mentor a staff accountant, and assist in the implementation of standard accounting policies and procedures.
  • Engage in financial modeling, review financial outcomes, support the use of KPIs and dashboards, and ensure accuracy in accounting records in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Prepare quarterly financial analyses for presentation to leadership.
  • Review month-end reconciliations and manage account-closing processes.
Tax Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns with precision and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide clients with effective tax-planning strategies.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax laws and communicate their implications to clients and colleagues.
  • Respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to gather necessary information, address questions, and provide guidance in tax preparation and planning.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong accounting and tax preparation skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience with accounting technology and software.
