The Financial Operations Manager will serve as the Strategic Financial Business Partner to our clients while being actively involved in all Tax functions for their various holdings.

You will oversee a Staff Accountant and report directly to the owner, positioning you for immediate profit and equity sharing opportunities as you will play a vital role in the business.

This role offers a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation that candidates reside or relocate within a reasonable distance of our headquarters. Remote options may be available based on performance over time.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Management Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns efficiently.
  • Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise clients on tax-planning strategies.
  • Stay informed about changes in tax laws and communicate implications to clients.
  • Respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather information and provide guidance in tax preparation.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong accounting and tax preparation skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience with accounting technology and software.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
