Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Phoenix Metals. This role is responsible for promoting and maintaining sales by originating and developing leads, and providing excellent customer service to our valued clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities and build relationships with existing customers to drive sales growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing all customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assess and maximize the buying potential, profitability, and product/service requirements of customers through creation of a sales strategy and action plan.
  • Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to identify leads and increase sales of products and services.
  • Partner with customers within assigned territories to proactively identify long and short-term needs and provide mutually beneficial solutions for products and/or services.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and sales automation tools.
