Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Pet Care Center team. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and increase market share.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Pet Care Center partners, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, responding to customer needs, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Financial Management: Manage store finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses to achieve profitability goals.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
  • Merchandising: Develop and implement visual merchandising plans, ensuring a visually appealing store environment that drives sales and customer engagement.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate loss opportunities, ensuring the security of store assets and minimizing shrinkage.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Three or more years of retail management experience, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
