Service Desk Support Specialist

DP Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Engineer to provide remote support assistance and remediation to our customers. This role involves technical troubleshooting and issue resolution for a wide range of technology platforms, including workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote access tools
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft core business applications and operating systems
- Support services for Microsoft-related technologies, including Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, and SharePoint
- Implement and support remote access solutions, such as VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
- Document technical issues and resolutions in ConnectWise and IT Glue
- Communicate with customers to keep them informed of ticket progress and notify them of impending changes
- Deploy desktops and laptops
- Contribute to the improvement of customer service, perception, and overall satisfaction
Requirements:
- 5+ years of technical troubleshooting experience, preferably in a Help Desk or System Administrator role
- Experience with Windows servers, Exchange, O365, Active Directory, and Microsoft Suite
- Knowledge of remote access solutions, including VPN, Remote Desktop Services, and Citrix
- Interpersonal skills, including telephony, communication, teamwork, active listening, and customer care
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and adapt to changes quickly
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
