Job Summary

The Parts Counter Sales Representative role at Doggett involves providing exceptional customer service to walk-in and phone customers with their heavy equipment parts and attachment needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in determining necessary parts for their John Deere and Non-Deere equipment.
  • Lookup part numbers through Parts Advisor using model and serial numbers provided by customers.
  • Process sales orders and purchase orders until final invoicing is executed.
  • Review all open orders daily and communicate with customers on order status.
  • Assist in all areas of the parts department as needed.
  • Maintain a professional, safe, and clean work environment.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of heavy equipment or automotive parts-related experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outgoing and positive personality.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Knowledge of CDK/Intellidealer system is a plus.
Physical and Environmental Demands

The employee must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds from floor to chest, reach and use the arms with a full range of motion, and endure prolonged sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.

The employee regularly works indoors and may be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity.
