- Oversees specialized legal areas such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic partnerships; value-based enterprises; private equity and direct investment; and other transactional support.
- Develops policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.
- Education: Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school, required.
- Experience: Seven or more years of healthcare regulatory and transactional law experience, including complex healthcare transactions, required.
- Licensure/Certification: Active license to practice law, in good standing with jurisdiction in which licensed, required.

- Operational Excellence: Exceptionally strong attention to project deadlines and details; broad-based experience to ensure organizational growth and advancement.
- Executive presence: Has the ability to navigate and communicate effectively at a high level with top executives of the organization to collaborate and share ideas on a variety of items.
- Efficiency: Must be able to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines, with the ability to be flexible to meet clients' timelines, including non-traditional work hours.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Highly Effective Communicator: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, appropriately, and inclusively with key stakeholders at all levels.

- Confidentiality: Respects confidential information.
- Broad healthcare transactional experience, including physician acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and significant knowledge of healthcare operations.
- Deep experience with Stark, the Anti-kickback statute, and applicable antitrust regulations.
