Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with distributed engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration and project execution.
  • Work Prioritization: Manage week-over-week work priorities for a data engineering team, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Project Management: Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira, Asana, and Microsoft 365 products to manage and track project progress, create documentation, and report to leadership.
  • Roadmap Management: Maintain multiple project roadmaps, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Communication: Facilitate asynchronous communication across teams in different time zones, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Technical Translation: Translate business requirements into technical requirements and effectively communicate these to less technical team members, discussing trade-offs when necessary.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with engineers, engineering managers, product managers, and business leaders to ensure project success.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor and report on improvements to operational efficiency, providing regular updates to team leaders.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum four year bachelor's degree.
  • Certifications: Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certifications are a plus.
Compensation

The compensation for this role is $80-88/hour.
