About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our ACE team at Atlassian. As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and managing technical program goals and success metrics. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop comprehensive solutions, utilizing your technical expertise to comprehend product architecture, identify potential risks, and collaborate on mitigations to ensure successful delivery of the solution.

Responsibilities
  • Translate business objectives into technical requirements to be prioritized and solved in the current business environment.
  • Partner with engineers and architects to deliver solutions to complex problems.
  • Build a project plan for delivery and effectively communicate the status of project execution, associated risks, and issues to stakeholders and partners.
  • Make data-driven decisions for your project, understanding tradeoffs and balancing speed of delivery with risks and impact.
  • Manage complex dependencies and projects with a broad scope across the company, ensuring successful delivery.
Qualifications
  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering or technical product/program management.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to understand business objectives to translate them into technical problems and programs.
  • Technical understanding of systems involved.
  • Experience defining and running end-to-end complex technical programs.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. The baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn, we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
