Housekeeper Lead Job Summary

As a Housekeeper Lead with Crothall Healthcare, you will be responsible for supervising, training, and inspecting the performance of assigned housekeeping staff to ensure all procedures are completed to unit standards. You will also assist in ensuring optimum service to guests and resolve internal/external guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
  • Ensure assigned staff have reported to work and clocked in properly; document late or absent employees.
  • Resolve internal/external guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Document call offs, and replace for any shift.
  • Coordinate assigned staff breaks.
  • Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to staff and review priorities. Communicate additions or changes to the assignment sheets as they arise throughout the shift.
  • Assign designated keys, radios, and beepers to assigned staff. Maintain accurate record of such assignments and ensure security of keys.
  • Check all equipment used by staff for proper supplies, neatness, cleanliness, and mechanical problems. Instruct designated personnel to correct deficiencies.
  • Inspect areas to confirm cleaning standards have been met.
  • Assist staff to ensure highest standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Conduct staff training as assigned.
  • Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
