The Courtyard Charlotte Matthews is seeking dedicated Housekeeping Professionals to join our team for shifts from 7am to 3pm. We have openings for both full-time and part-time positions, with availability required on weekdays and weekends.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: To enhance guest satisfaction by ensuring all guest rooms are maintained in a clean and orderly manner, adhering to the standards set by the company and brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Guarantees guest satisfaction by performing daily cleaning of guest rooms in line with operational guidelines and standards.
  • Replaces soiled bed and bath linens with fresh linens as necessary.
  • Clears away trash and debris from rooms as needed.
  • Cleans bathroom areas, dusts surfaces, replenishes room amenities, and vacuums rooms as required.
  • Reports any unusual circumstances to hotel management.
  • Submits maintenance requests and orders for replacements.
  • Maintains an organized supply cart and vacuum cleaner to maximize job efficiency and ensure a neat appearance.
  • Ensures the linen closet is organized and stocked, notifying the housekeeping manager or supervisor immediately of any shortages.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in housekeeping.
  • Flexibility in work hours is essential to accommodate last-minute scheduling changes.
  • Availability to work on weekends is required.
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment, techniques, and safe chemical usage is crucial.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment by changing tasks and adjusting energy levels as needed.
  • Must meet required threshold scores according to brand and company inspections.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Employees in this role primarily work indoors. To succeed in this position, candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, kneel, bend, crawl, squat, and tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals. Candidates must also be capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying a minimum weight of approximately 20 lbs.
