The Courtyard Charlotte Matthews is seeking dedicated Housekeeping Staff to maintain cleanliness and comfort for our guests. Shifts are available from 7am to 3pm, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions. Flexibility for weekdays and weekends is essential.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: To enhance guest satisfaction by ensuring all rooms are kept immaculate and adhere to the established company and brand standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction by performing daily cleaning of guest rooms in line with operational guidelines.
  • Replace soiled linens and towels with fresh ones as necessary.
  • Clear away trash and debris from rooms as needed.
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms, dust surfaces, restock room amenities, and vacuum as required.
  • Notify management of any unusual occurrences.
  • Report maintenance issues and supply needs promptly.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient supply cart and vacuum cleaner to enhance job performance.
  • Ensure the linen closet is organized and well-stocked, alerting supervisors of any shortages.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in housekeeping.
  • Must be adaptable to changing work hours and schedules.
  • Availability for weekend shifts is required.
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment, techniques, and safe chemical handling is crucial.
  • Ability to shift tasks and adjust energy levels to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment.
  • Must meet brand and company inspection standards.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Individuals in this role primarily work indoors. Successful candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, kneel, bend, crawl, squat, and tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning agents. The ability to lift, push, pull, and carry weights of at least 20 lbs is necessary.
