Store Operations Leader

The Store Operations Leader plays a crucial role in guiding key operational areas, including Front End Management, Convenience Store Operations, Facility Oversight, Labor Scheduling, Pricing and Inventory Management, Project Coordination, and Loss Prevention.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Train, mentor, and coach your team to ensure exemplary execution and customer service.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of personalized development plans for each team member.
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels in accordance with budgetary guidelines while addressing customer needs.
  • Collaborate with human resources to recruit, train, and evaluate the performance of all team members.
  • Monitor and manage store wage and expense control initiatives.
  • Identify and address budget variances in partnership with the General Manager and human resources.
  • Oversee all cash management protocols and practices.
  • Administer and audit the Fleet Rewards Visa, Store Credit Card, and Loyalty Program.
  • Provide support and direction for customer-related concerns as necessary.
  • Work with the Loss Prevention Lead to minimize shrinkage through education and compliance.
  • Promote the Fleet Farm customer loyalty program and other corporate initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience in a large retail environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and foster relationships in a dynamic setting.
  • Capability to motivate a diverse team, including both full-time and part-time members.
  • Proven decision-making skills with the ability to implement solutions, plan, delegate tasks, monitor progress, and adapt to change.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
