Job Title: Patient & Customer Experience Specialist

At Northwell Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient and customer experiences. As a Patient & Customer Experience Specialist, you will play a vital role in fostering a culture of care and hospitality throughout our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Role Model Culture of C.A.R.E. and patient-centered organizational values, ensuring a positive experience for patients, families, and team members.
  • Maintain Ongoing Communication with patients, families, and team members to ensure their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
  • Support Experience-Based Programs, projects, and improvements, gathering key information to prepare presentations, documents, and reports.
  • Collaborate with Site-Based Leadership to promote and sustain patient experience strategic plans, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Participate in Experience Improvement Efforts, providing support for meetings and events, and coordinating educational and training programs to engage team members in patient/customer experience culture.
  • Provide Emotional Support to patients, families, visitors, and team members, ensuring a compassionate and empathetic experience.
  • Perform Service Recovery, following policies and procedures regarding concern and complaint management, escalating to leadership when necessary.
  • Operate Under General Guidance, with varied work assignments that require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 1-3 Years of Relevant Experience required, with a strong understanding of patient experience principles and practices.
