Job Summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Neonatologist to join our team as a Clinical Faculty member at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. As a key member of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, you will provide expert care and consulting services in neonatal medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, including coverage of the NICU.
  • Performance Improvement: Foster an environment that supports performance improvement activities within the patient care settings and provide reports as requested.
  • Quality Patient Care: Maintain and enhance the support of quality patient care by identifying and implementing strategies working collaboratively with the entire care team.
  • Education and Training: Provide education to physicians, nurses, and other ancillary medical personnel.
Qualifications
  1. Medical Degree: Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
  2. Board Certification: Board Certification (or eligibility) in Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine.
  3. California License: Unrestricted California license as Physician.
  4. Credentialing Requirements: Ability to meet eligibility and credentialing requirements of Torrance Memorial Medical Center Medical Staff Membership and of Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation.
  5. Collaborative Approach: Commitment to developing and fostering a multidisciplinary collaborative approach to patient care.
  6. Continuous Quality Improvement: Demonstrated competence in continuous quality improvement processes.
  7. Exceptional Clinical and Professional Accomplishment: Evidence of exceptional clinical, and professional accomplishment.
  8. Computer Competency: Computer competency comprised of a working knowledge of Windows and/or a comparable operating system that sufficiently provides for access to patient and other business information.
