Key Responsibilities- Clinical Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
- Performance Improvement: Foster an environment that supports performance improvement activities, providing reports and collaborating with the care team to implement strategies for quality patient care.
- Education and Training: Provide education to physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel, enhancing their knowledge and skills in neonatal medicine.
- Quality Patient Care: Maintain and enhance the support of quality patient care by identifying and implementing strategies, working collaboratively with the entire care team.
- Medical Degree: Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification: Board certification (or eligibility) in Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine.
- California License: Unrestricted California license as a Physician.
- Credentialing Requirements: Ability to meet eligibility and credentialing requirements of Torrance Memorial Medical Center Medical Staff Membership and of Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation.
- Collaborative Approach: Commitment to developing and fostering a multidisciplinary collaborative approach to patient care.
- Continuous Quality Improvement: Demonstrated competence in continuous quality improvement processes.
- Exceptional Clinical and Professional Accomplishment: Evidence of exceptional clinical and professional accomplishment.
- Computer Competency: Computer competency comprised of a working knowledge of Windows and/or a comparable operating system that sufficiently provides for access to patient and other business information.
The compensation for this position is $150/hour.
