Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Torrance Memorial Medical Center Crisis Response. This role involves providing essential nursing care in a travel/contract capacity.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM as applicable to the unit.
  • Licensure: A valid California RN License is required.
  • Unit-Specific Certifications: Certain certifications may be necessary for specialized units such as ICU, Med Surg, ER, etc.
Job Responsibilities
  • Engage in a travel/contract nursing position.
  • Participate in crisis response efforts at Torrance Memorial Medical Center.
  • References must be provided prior to submission.
  • Cerner Experience: Required for this position.
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is essential.
  • Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH are required.
  • Two clinical references are necessary for submission, with at least one being supervisory or higher (Charge RN not accepted).
  • Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted.
Work Schedule
  • This position requires a NIGHT SHIFT.
  • No block scheduling is permitted.
  • Availability for all major holidays is mandatory.
Additional Information
  • Photo ID (copy of front & back) is required (driver's license or passport).
  • Social Security Card is not necessarily required unless needed for I-9 form completion.
