About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Territory Manager to join our team in the Sedalia market. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and resolving customer issues related to JIT delivery and material availability.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established customer base by identifying new sales opportunities and building strong relationships with existing customers.
- Develop new business opportunities through effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Resolve customer issues related to JIT delivery and material availability by working closely with internal teams and external partners.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.
- Experience in outside sales, preferably in the metal distribution industry.
- A High School Diploma or higher education (2 or more years of college coursework preferred).
- A valid driver's license to travel between customer sites.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
