Clinical Unit Manager

Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction to assigned units, ensuring effective management of nursing activities and maintenance of high standards of care.
- Clinical Practice: Ensure that clinical practice aligns with professional, regulatory, and government standards, maintaining hospital compliance and patient safety.
- Staff Development: Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement among staff members, promoting personal and professional growth.
- Committee Participation: Participate in committee and task force functions as assigned, focusing on unit or hospital-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: RN graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensure/Certification: Valid, current license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required. ACLS/PALS certification is recommended.
- Work Experience: Successful completion of hospital orientation and minimum one year experience as a staff nurse.
Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
