About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager to join our team in the Sedalia market. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for growing an established customer base, developing new long-term customer relationships, and solving customer JIT delivery and material challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow an established customer base by identifying new sales opportunities and building strong relationships with existing customers.
- Develop new long-term customer relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Solve customer JIT delivery and material challenges by working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.
- Outside sales experience in metal distribution, preferably with a proven track record of success.
- A High School Diploma or higher education (2 or more years of college coursework preferred).
- A valid driver's license to travel between customer sites.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
